Stuart Caldwell is a consultant general and vascular surgeon who has worked at Middlemore Hospital since 2006. UK-trained, he completed his surgical training across the West Midlands and gained his Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in 2002, going on to hold a consultant post at the University of North Staffordshire NHS Trust before moving to New Zealand.
Stuart is a member of the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland and the New Zealand Vascular Society. He moved to New Zealand with his wife and four children for the lifestyle, and the family has since thrown themselves into New Zealand sport and culture.
